Brendon Babenzien takes the helm at J.Crew

With Brendon Babenzien taking the helm at J.Crew we might be seeing a (welcome) comeback of what was once one of the most renowned American retailers.

After working at Supreme, Babenzien created what is, for me, one of the coolest brands around – Noah. Can he do the same at J.Crew? From the first look at the collection, it definitely seems he’s onto something. Portraying a contemporary take on preppy style, the result is a mix of cashmere sweaters, suiting, chinos and polo shirts, all with a distinctive aesthetic.
